About SH Joinery

SH Joinery, trading as Samuel James Joinery, makes fitted furniture and cabinetry to order. Walk-in, fitted and floor to ceiling wardrobes, dressing rooms and bespoke bedroom furniture for private homes; built-in office storage, bespoke reception desks, boardroom storage, office shelving and display units and media or feature walls for offices and workplaces.

The approach is deliberately understated. We survey the room first, draw it properly, agree materials and finishes against samples, then manufacture off site so time on site is short, clean and predictable. The people who make the work are the people who install it.

We work most often in Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea, where period proportions, portered buildings and restricted access shape how a job has to be planned, and across Hammersmith & Fulham, Camden and Islington. Those five boroughs are the whole of our coverage, which is what keeps the standard consistent.

We are joiners and cabinetmakers. We do not take on structural alterations or general building work, and we would rather recommend the right trade than stretch outside what we do well.
