About

Our team

A small team led by founder Samuel Henry, with Toby as contracts manager. The people who make the work are the people who install it.

Who you will deal with

Samuel Henry, founder, takes enquiries, carries out surveys, sets the work out and stays with a project from the first conversation through to final adjustment on site.

Toby, contracts manager, looks after programme and coordination: survey and installation dates, access arrangements with building managers, and the interfaces with other trades already on site.

Estimating, design and accounts roles are being recruited. We would rather name nobody than publish a profile for a role that is not yet filled, so those names will appear here once the appointments are confirmed.

Bench and site

Our work is split between the bench and the site. Cabinetry is made and finished in the workshop, where dust, noise and drying times can be controlled, and then delivered and installed by the same people who built it.

That continuity removes the gap where detail is usually lost. Nothing has to be explained second-hand to a fitting crew who were not part of the setting out.

Working with other trades

On most projects we are one of several trades. We coordinate survey and installation dates with the contractor, designer or building manager holding the programme, and we plan for restricted access, portered buildings, protected lifts and out-of-hours working where the building requires it.

We are joiners and cabinetmakers only. We do not take on structural alterations, electrical or plumbing work, or general building work, and we are happy to recommend trades we have worked alongside.

Care on site

Occupied homes and working offices are protected before anything is carried in: floors covered, doorways sheeted, dust controlled and the area cleared at the end of each day. It is a small thing that clients notice more than almost anything else.
